CGx Cancer Screens
Hereditary Cancer Testing

Some people are genetically more likely to develop certain types of cancers, and cancer genomics helps to uncover these risks. After receiving the patient’s DNA sample and carrying out a thorough test, we then compile the results into an in-depth yet easy to understand report detailing all the information you need to know. Using the most advanced sequencing technology on the market, we provide incredibly accurate results which physicians can then use to create a personalized therapy based on your genome.

If you or your family have a history of any of the following: An individual that...
· has been previously diagnosed with cancer personally at any time
· has multiple close family members with a cancer diagnosis under the age of 50
· has three or more close family members with different types of cancer
· has had family that previously had genetic testing and mutations were identified
Genetic testing can help determine if you are at an increased risk of developing hereditary cancer. In addition, our CGx test helps guide physicians to pursue preventative measures, which may lead to early detection and treatment of the condition. Accuracy of results is crucial.

DNA samples are collected by a simple oral swab, then sent to the lab for testing. Simply swab each cheek up and down multiple times and return into the enclosed tube.
You do not have to worry about the cost of the CGx testing coming directly out of your pocket. This test process is covered by most insurance providers, HMOs, PPOs, Medicaid and Medicare.
